Grayson Hardaway

Grayson Hardaway is an experienced Infrastructure Engineer and Senior Security Researcher at Semgrep, where contributions include authorship of Semgrep rules focused on application security since July 2019. Prior roles include Systems Security Analyst at Archaedis Mend LLC, providing security consulting for a Middle Eastern company, and Systems Security Analyst at Ultimate Software, analyzing new binaries within the corporate environment. Grayson served in the United States Department of Defense as a Capabilities Development Specialist, bringing CNE software from research to release while also holding a role as a Computer Scientist in a developmental program. Additional experience includes contract programming at Perseus Books Group and an internship at Hewlett-Packard focused on software development cycles. Grayson holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Union University.
