Gene Escober has over 20 years of work experience in information technology. Gene started their career as a Consultant at Lante Corporation in 1999, where they worked until 2001. In 2001, they joined SEMI as a Web Technology Manager and held this role until 2008. From 2008 to 2015, Gene served as the Director of IT Application Development and Support at SEMI. Gene then advanced to the role of Director of Information Technology Group from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Information Technology & Business Infrastructure at SEMI.
Gene Escober attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 1989 to 1993. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration. In addition to their degree, Gene also obtained certifications from NetSuite, becoming a NetSuite Certified Administrator in May 2015, and from Salesforce, becoming a Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer in May 2011.
