Semiconductor Research
Todd is a chemist with 18 years of R&D experience spanning Intel Corporation’s 0.18μm to 5nm technology nodes. His technical contributions have been in the areas of novel materials, nanotechnology, integration, advanced lithography, and integrated photonics. Now an Intel employee on assignment to the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC), Todd serves as Executive Director of the Joint University Microelectronics Program (JUMP).
JUMP is a $250M, 5-yr. research initiative with support from DARPA and 12 corporate benefactors. JUMP looks to challenge and change the electronics research paradigm, driving cross-disciplinary research into heterogeneous electronic solutions that deliver a smarter, autonomous future and true ubiquitous computing. With 30 universities, 133 faculty researchers, 738 students, and 304 industrial liaisons that are helping guide the research, Todd is thrilled to be guiding tomorrow’s workforce on these over-arching principles.
