Gretchen Cunliffe-Owen has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Gretchen started their career at Aurora Healthcare in 2004, where they worked as a Manager, overseeing two medical/surgical floors and managing a team of 54 staff members. During their time at Aurora Healthcare, they focused on improving patient care, cultivating staff professional growth, and evaluating employee performance.
In 2008, Gretchen moved to ICU Medical, where they served as a Sr. Clinical Nurse Consultant for ten years. Their role involved providing clinical expertise and guidance to healthcare professionals and clients. Gretchen was responsible for implementing medical devices and software and ensuring successful outcomes.
More recently, Gretchen joined Semler Scientific in 2018, where they held several key positions. Gretchen started as the Director of Clinical Education, where they demonstrated their ability to develop and execute effective training programs for medical devices and software within large healthcare systems. Gretchen then progressed to the role of Sr. Director of Education & Quality Programs, further showcasing their skills in education and quality management. Currently, Gretchen holds the position of Executive Director - Customer Education, where they continue to contribute their expertise in customer education program development and material creation.
Through their various roles, Gretchen has proven their aptitude for staff and project management, process development, and delivering successful training programs. Their vast experience in healthcare and education makes their a valuable asset to any organization in the industry.
Gretchen Cunliffe-Owen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Concordia University-Wisconsin. Gretchen also has additional certifications in Big Data Foundations - Level 1 and Hadoop Foundations - Level 1, obtained from IBM.
