.SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence, Inc., (SADI) is a 501c3 Non-Profit, Non-Residential Center for Independent Living which provides a vast array of services to all people with disabilities so that they may live in their own home and community and not in an institution.  SADI is funded in part through State/Federal and Foundation Grants and Contracts as well as private donations. SADI provides Information/Referral, Peer Support, Advocacy, Independent Living Skills Training, Employment Mentoring Services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Door to Door Transportation Services in the cities of Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Fruitland, Gordonville, Scott City, and Chaffee; GAPS Autism Services, In Home/CDS/Respite Personal Care Services, Deaf Interpreter Referral, Nursing Home Transition Services, Assistive Device Loan Closet, Telephone Assistance Program, Speakers Bureau and ADA/504 Assessments.
