David Mandl has worked at SEMPERRIT AG since 2011. David started as a Design and Process Engineer before moving on to roles such as Process Engineer, Global Process Engineer, and Lean Management Expert. From 2019 to 2022, they served as a Product & Process Innovation Expert. Most recently, they have been the Head of Production Sheave Liners & Extrusion STP since September 2022.
David Mandl completed their education with a Master of Science in Verfahrenstechnik (Process Engineering) from Technische Universität Wien from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Verfahrenstechnik from the same university from 2011 to 2014. Before entering university, David attended HTBLuVA Wiener Neustadt from 2005 to 2010, where they specialized in Automatisierungstechnik und Maschinenbau (Automation Technology and Mechanical Engineering).
In addition to their formal education, David also obtained certifications including a Six Sigma Green Belt from Donau-Universität Krems in April 2021 and a Lean Production Green Belt from the same institution in June 2018.

Semperit AG Holding is an Austria-based holding company engaged in the manufacturing of industrial rubber and plastic products. The Company operates in two sectors: Medical and Industrial. The Medical sector includes the Sempermed segment, which produces and sells gloves, including examination, protective and surgical gloves. The Industrial sector includes three segments: the Semperflex segment sells low-pressure and high-pressure hoses, which are reinforced with textiles (industrial hoses) or metal wires (hydraulic hoses); the Sempertrans segment focuses on the manufacturing and marketing of transport and conveyor belts, which are reinforced with either textile or steel carcasses, and the Semperform segment produces and markets molded and and extrusion products made of rubber and plastic.
