Lisa Larroque Alexander is senior vice president of corporate affairs for Sempra Energy. In this role, Alexander oversees strategic communications, corporate citizenship, board relations and sustainability for the company.
Previously, Alexander served as vice president of corporate communications and sustainability for Sempra Energy. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, she served as vice president of customer solutions, communications and environmental strategy for Southern California Gas Co. (SoCalGas), one of Sempra Energy’s regulated California utilities.
Since joining SoCalGas in 2011, Alexander has held the positions of market services manager, manager of customer strategy, director of commercial and industrial services, and director of technology solutions.
Before joining SoCalGas, Alexander was a partner at a management consulting firm that advised energy companies on smart-grid technologies and behavioral economics. She also has held strategic marketing positions at E*TRADE and Omnicom, and was previously a management consultant advising Fortune 500 companies on growth strategies. Alexander began her career as a management consultant with Accenture.
Alexander currently serves on the board of SoCalGas.
She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego.
