Farzad Hamidi

Farzad Hamidi is a seasoned Staff Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer at Semtech since November 2019, with previous experience as Lead Embedded Software Engineer at Ecoation Innovative Solutions Inc from August 2015 to November 2019. At Ecoation, Farzad contributed to designing advanced systems utilizing ARM® Cortex™ microprocessors, developing hardware interfaces, and creating firmware and communication protocols. Earlier roles include Embedded Software Engineer positions at Advanced Intelligent System Inc. and Ophtalight Digital Solutions Inc., where projects focused on precision tracking for field robots and automated eye testing prototypes. Farzad's educational background includes a Master's degree in Mechatronics from Simon Fraser University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University and the University of Tehran.
