Simon Brightwell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.
Simon is currently working as the Head of Marketing at Senceive since March 2020.
Prior to that, Simon worked as a Director at Reverbo Limited from September 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they provided high-level marketing support for technical clients, offering consultancy, content & PR, and executed campaigns.
Simon served as the Regional Communications Manager at Fugro from September 2018 to November 2019.
From 2012 to 2018, they held the position of Marketing and Business Development Head at Fugro GeoServices, where they oversaw all marketing activities and business development for Fugro Geophysics Service Line across the European and Caspian region.
Before that, Simon was the Marketing Director and Division Head - Structures at Fugro Aperio from 2008 to 2012. In this role, they led a team involved in non-destructive investigation of buildings and civil engineering structures. Simon also had overall responsibility for communications, branding, and promotion.
Simon began their career at Aperio Ltd in 1997 as the Sales & Marketing Director until 2008.
Prior to that, they worked as a Business Development Manager at GB Geotechnics from 1995 to 1997 and was responsible for scoping, specifying new work, writing technical proposals, and managing the company's ISO 9002 quality assurance system.
Simon's early career includes a role as a Manager at CMP-GBG from 1994 to 1995 and as a Project Manager at GB Geotechnics from 1988 to 1994.
Simon Brightwell attended Melbourn Village College from 1979 to 1984. There is no mention of completing a degree or specific field of study during this time. From 1984 to 1986, they attended the Polytechnic of North London and earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors (BSc Hons) in Environmental Management.
