Earl Barnes

Earl Barnes II is Corporate Vice President and General Counsel for Sentara Healthcare. He is responsible for the legal affairs of the corporation.

Before joining Sentara, Barnes served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for Chicago-based Amita Health. In that role, he led and managed Amita Heath's legal, compliance, audit, and risk departments. Barnes has vast legal experience in senior legal roles at complex healthcare organizations including Advocate Health Care Network, OhioHealth Corporation and Northwestern Medicine.
