Rui Yi Yong

Rui Yi Yong has a diverse work experience with various companies. Currently, Rui Yi is working as an IT Lead at Stint, where they are responsible for handling all things tech, including developing a new website and maintaining existing frameworks. They are also involved in non-IT discussions regarding the company's future direction. Prior to this, Rui Yi worked as a Deep Learning Engineer at Sentient Vision Systems, where they focused on investigating new deep learning frameworks and reporting findings to relevant personnel. Rui Yi also worked as a Student Fellow at Startmate and as a Mechanical Engineer at Monash Connected Autonomous Vehicle. They also participated as a Heart Hack Team Member at MYMI (Monash Young MedTech Innovators).

Rui Yi Yong pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Monash University, starting in 2020 and completing it in 2024. Additionally, in May 2022, they obtained an Associate - Mechanical Design certification from Solidworks.
