Laura Gonzalez, PhD, APRN, CNE, CHSE-A, ANEF, FAAN, is an accomplished healthcare professional currently serving as Vice President of Healthcare Innovation at Sentinel U® and Immediate Past President of the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning. With a rich background in nursing education, Laura held the position of Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida from June 2017 to April 2021, focusing on curricular integration through simulation and innovative technology. Previous roles include serving as Vice President of Programs for the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning and as a Nurse Educator at St. Joseph's Hospital Tampa. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing/Research from the University of Central Florida, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Hunter College.
