Nora Shapiro

Nora Shapiro is an experienced software engineer currently working at Sentry since February 2024. Previously, Nora served as a Backend Software Engineer at Healthy Together from July 2018 to January 2024, focusing on improving technology for government Health and Human Services by designing custom software solutions, building and maintaining RESTful APIs, and integrating third-party services. Nora's journey in technology began with a fellowship at Hackbright Academy in early 2018, after which skills were further refined. Earlier roles include Associate Account Coordinator at Touch of Modern, and research positions at institutions like OHSU and the Mayo Clinic, where extensive research on pain perception and neurobiology was conducted. Nora holds a Master's Degree in Neuroscience from Oregon Health & Science University and a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience from Oberlin College.
