Andy Chen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Andy is currently working as a Lead Interaction Designer at Software Engineering Professionals (SEP) since June 2020. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Andy Chen Photography, where they exhibited their work, won awards, and conducted photography and creativity workshops from September 2005 to April 2021. Andy also served as the Owner of Blue Prophet, specializing in User Experience strategy and design, and as Creative Director for a pharmaceutical company's innovation lab from September 2005 to April 2021. Andy Chen has also worked as the Director of StutzArtSpace Gallery from December 2010 to June 2013. Before that, they co-founded and served as the CTO of Quovix, where they created a crowd sourcing platform and managed an international community of software developers from 1999 to 2005. Lastly, they started their career as a Consultant at Haverstick Consulting, where they built the firm's internet practice and worked on various web technologies from 1996 to 1999.

Andy Chen attended Purdue University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Electrical Engineering.
