Rui Liu has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. They started their career at Wolfram Research in 2006 as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2010. Later, Rui joined Wolfram Alpha, LLC in 2010 as a Technical Staff Member for approximately a year. In 2012, they joined Interactive Intelligence as a Software Engineer and contributed to the organization's projects until 2017. Rui then worked as a Research Assistant at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis from 2009 to 2014. Currently, Rui is employed at Software Engineering Professionals (SEP) as a Senior Software Engineer, a role they have held since May 2019. Overall, Rui Liu has extensive experience in software engineering and has worked in various positions throughout their career.
Rui Liu completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 2003 to 2006. Rui then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, graduating in 2013.
