Hayes began their career in IT at Yum! Brands, where they served as head of IT for KFC and Pizza Hut in the Middle East, Turkey, and Pakistan. In this role, they led a team of 25 people and was responsible for creating and aligning a new digital strategy and transformation for the region. Antony also supported 1,300 restaurants and 12 countries with $1.6 billion in sales.

In August 2018, Hayes joined Sephora as CIO for Asia (SEA, ANZ, China). In this role, they lead a team of 75 internal and outsourced employees based in Singapore and Shanghai. Antony is responsible for driving a major transformation across digital and enterprise technology, enabling the business to grow revenue by 25% per year with healthy profitability. The Sephora brand is owned by LVMH.

Hayes began their educational career at Newport Free Grammar School. Antony then went on to study computing at Loughborough University, where they earned a BSc. Hons. In addition to their academic credentials, Hayes has also received certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
