Jody Meister is the current Senior Director of Marketing, Loyalty at Sephora. Prior to their current position, Meister served as the Global Director of Marketing for Banana Republic Loyalty from May 2016 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the Omni strategy for BR Loyalty and Credit program. This included owning 39% of BR customer file, driving 52% of BR sales, and delivering +$2B in out-of-brand volume.
Meister is credited with posting the highest results in program history by improving CH active rate and increasing frequency. Jody pitched, negotiated, and obtained buy-in of their strategy with executive leaders, including brand CEO & CMO. Meister also owned all reporting and analytics related to BR Cardmember metrics and engagement KPIs. In addition, they directed +$7M in marketing spend across all channels (Digital, Site, Email, Print, In-Store, Lifecycle, etc.) and drove commercial plan, integrating card acquisition and retention activities within broader BR calendar.
Some notable initiatives Meister executed during their time as Global Director of Marketing for Banana Republic Loyalty include cardmember activations with 3rd party vendors and agencies - Synchrony Financial, Apple, Samsung, Visa, AmEx, PhD, Minted, Synchrony Financial, Pandora, etc. Jody also oversaw Direct Mail content and segmentation for 16 campaigns resulting in $20M incremental net sales. Lastly, they managed five direct reports.
Jody Meister has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Arizona with a minor in German. Jody also has a German Studies degree from Justus Liebig University Giessen.
