Francesca Clemente has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and research fields. Francesca began their career in 1999 as a doctoral researcher at Università degli Studi di Cagliari, where they focused on research. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at IMEC as a researcher and technique responsible, specializing in micro-Raman characterization and semiconductor research. In 2010, they joined Septentrio as a support engineer and later took on roles such as technical support manager and product manager. Currently, they serve as the head of applications support at Septentrio. Francesca's expertise lies in technical support, product management, and research within the technology sector.

Francesca Clemente obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Cagliari from 1993 to 1999. Francesca then pursued a Ph.D. in Physics at the same institution, specializing in optical spectroscopy of porous SiO2 from 1999 to 2003. Later, Francesca completed a Master's degree in ESAS, specializing in material science for micro and nano-technologies, at Università di Pavia from 2004 to 2005.
