Danny Lee

Danny Lee has over 10 years of experience in next generation sequencing and library preparation research and development. Danny is the founder of Seqmatic, a next generation sequencing service, and has served as its CEO for the past 6 months. Prior to Seqmatic, Danny worked as a Sr. Scientist at Illumina for 4 years and 1 month, where they were responsible for library preparation research and development. Danny also worked as a Sr. Scientist at Appliedbiosystems for 5 years and as an Associate Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline for 2 years. Danny began their career as a Research Associate at Affymetrix, where they worked for 3 years.

Danny Lee attended the University of California, Davis from 1989 to 1994, where they studied biochemistry.
