Kelsey Francis

Kelsey Francis is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing critical infrastructure systems and web applications across various industries. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Sequoia Capital since May 2022, Kelsey previously held senior engineering roles at Netflix and Space Exploration Technologies, where significant contributions included operation and development of key systems for mission operations. Kelsey also has a solid foundation in research and development from time as a Research Scientist at Georgia Tech Research Institute and as a Software Consultant at The Home Depot, leading projects that enhanced internal applications and access controls. Early career experience includes roles in web application development and management, as well as co-founding a web hosting company. Kelsey holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Security and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
