Charles Cox has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Charles is currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Sera Prognostics, where they lead a team in developing and validating algorithms and models for pregnancy tests. Prior to this, Charles held the position of Director of Data Analytics at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., where they established data science and analytics best practices and built teams to support the company's biosecurity mission. Charles also worked as the Director of Data Science at bioMérieux and held various roles at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC, including Associate Director of Data Analytics and Software BioMathematician. Charles also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Utah and served as a General Manager for Computers for Kids, Inc. (Americorps Vista). Additionally, they worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer and held a tutoring position at the University of Utah.
Charles Cox has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Utah. Charles obtained this degree between the years 2002 and 2007. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the same university, which they completed between 2009 and 2011.
