George Abinader is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical design and project management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Sercel-GRC since May 2021, George has previously held significant roles such as Field Engineering Manager at Canrig Drilling Technology Ltd., providing technical support and conducting root cause analysis for drilling equipment. George's tenure at Schlumberger spanned from 2003 to 2017, where responsibilities included managing a large team for maintenance operations, leading new product development for wireline tools, and designing electronics for downhole applications. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, along with project management training from Caltech.
