Associate Director Disease Biology Expert at Servier Pharmaceuticals

Ethika T. has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical and research industries. They started their career as a Research Associate at the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute, where they studied the role of inflammatory proteins in Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis. They then joined the University of California, Los Angeles as a Post Doctoral Fellow, where they conducted in vivo and in vitro studies focused on neurological disorders. At the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Ethika developed PDX and Xenograft models for melanoma and utilized lentiviral and siRNA approaches for cell migration studies.

Ethika's industry experience includes working as a Senior Scientist, Team Lead at Tolero Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they managed in-house preclinical studies for drug development. They also held a managerial role at Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Oncology, where they planned and executed translational and biomarker development projects to support immune-oncology projects.

Most recently, Ethika worked as a Principal Scientist at Werewolf Therapeutics, where they designed and executed in vivo pharmacology studies, developed new model systems to explore efficacy and PK PD, and established relationships with new CRO facilities.

Currently, Ethika is working as an Associate Director in vivo Pharmacology and Disease Biology Expert at Servier Pharmaceuticals.

Ethika T. completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience/ Life Science from CDRI, Lucknow, from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research" from The National Institutes of Health in 2020, "Principles of Clinical Pharmacology" from The National Institutes of Health, Office of Clinical Research in 2019, and "Clinical Research Curriculum" from the Research Administration Training Series, University of Utah.
