Michelle Abshire

Michelle Abshire, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in clinical trial management with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Trial Manager at Servier Pharmaceuticals since February 2022, Michelle previously held the position of Associate Project Director at Syneos Health, overseeing global Phase 1-3 Oncology studies and managing all aspects of clinical operations. Michelle's background also includes roles as Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Syneos Health and INC Research, where responsibilities encompassed leading multifunctional teams, financial project management, vendor oversight, and client liaison. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology and a Master’s degree in Biological and Physical Sciences from the University of Virginia, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
