The career began as Project Engineer at Steel Equipment Specialists after earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron in 1995. Shane further advanced academic qualifications by obtaining a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Management from The University of Akron in 2002.
