Barbara Cocco

Barbara Cocco is an experienced professional in software engineering with a strong background in leadership and project management. Currently serving as Team Leader for Software Engineering within the Quantum Projects at SES Satellites since November 2015, Barbara manages a team of 3 internal full-time employees and over 10 consultants. Previous roles include positions as Senior Software Engineer and Software Project Engineer at SunGard, and Senior Professional Services Engineer at Energeya, where responsibilities included in-depth analysis of business requirements and guiding them into technical specifications. Barbara began the career as a Software Engineer at Sinossi Software and held an engineering position at Athlos s.r.l. Educational qualifications include a Laurea Specialistica in Electronic Engineering from Università degli Studi di Cagliari, achieved with top honors, as well as a Laurea in the same field from the same institution.
