Gabe Buckmaster

Gabe Buckmaster is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at Sesame since June 2024. Prior to this role, Gabe served as Head of Hardware at Zinn Labs from September 2022 to June 2024, focusing on hardware system architecture and prototyping for gaze tracking systems. Gabe's tenure at Apple spanned from October 2020 to September 2022 as a Hardware Systems Engineer, contributing to the development of the 15” M2 MacBook Air. Previous experience includes positions as a Core Input Devices Intern and an AppleCare Hardware Field Diagnostics Engineering Intern at Apple, a Design Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments, and an Undergraduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley. Gabe earned a PhD and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
