Benjamin Maxwell began their work experience in 2005 as a Distributed Computer Operator 2 at the State of Tennessee, where they developed reporting strategies and provided technical support for investigative tools and software. Benjamin then moved on to become an Information Systems Associate, where they developed and maintained databases and analyzed data for fraud detection. As a Programmer/Analyst 2, they played a crucial role in developing ETL procedures, implementing feature enhancements, and conducting digital investigations. Benjamin later served as a Special Assignments & Business Intelligence Analyst, conducting operational assessments, analyzing large datasets, and developing new policies and procedures. More recently, Benjamin worked at Simflofy, Inc. as a Software Engineer, and is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Sesame Software.

Benjamin Maxwell obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Memphis, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. In 2017, they attended The Iron Yard for a brief period to study Back End Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Benjamin has also obtained certifications from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Benjamin became TIES Basic Certified in January 2009 and TIES Query Certified in July 2007.
