Whit Higgins is Senior Vice President, International Media and Education and Distribution at Sesame Workshop, overseeing the organization’s strategic growth in Europe, Japan, China, Latin America, and Asia Pacific to maximize reach, revenue, and impact. He also directs distribution of Sesame Workshop media content outside of the US and Canada.
Whit was previously Sesame Workshop’s Vice President, Media Distribution and Business Development, significantly growing international distribution and reach for Sesame content and securing and extending strategic partnerships across distribution, themed entertainment, and English language learning.
Higgins spent 13 years in senior domestic and international positions at National Geographic Partners, Fox Networks Group, and National Geographic Channel, based in Washington, DC, Finland, and Spain. His roles included strategy and business development, general management, and content development and distribution.
Higgins holds a BA in English from Davidson College.
