William Burleson has a diverse background in IT support and technical roles, currently serving as a Help Desk Technician at SET SEG since June 2021. Prior experience includes a position as a Field Technician Level 1 at I.T. Right, Inc. and a Technical Support Intern at TechSmith Corporation, where support was provided remotely for Snagit and Camtasia software. William began their IT journey as a HelpDesk Intern at MSU Federal Credit Union, assisting various IT departments, and has experience as a Warehouse Associate at Tribus Services, supporting technology devices. William's foundational skills were developed during service in the Army National Guard as an Avionics Mechanic, where maintenance of electrical equipment on Black Hawk helicopters was key. William holds an Associate's degree in Computer Networking and Cyber-Security from Lansing Community College.

SET SEG is a non-profit company that was created in 1971 to offer schools comprehensive and affordable employee benefit solutions for Michigan public schools and their employees. Since its creation, the needs of Michigan's public education community continued to change and SET SEG grew into an organization offering a spectrum of insurance services including not only employee benefits, but property/casualty and workers' compensation as well. Today, SET SEG continues to expand and find innovative ways to meet the specialized needs of its members. This, coupled with a superior member experience, is why SET SEG has maintained its position as an industry leader in the school insurance market.
