Dale Andersen is a Senior Scientist at the Carl Sagan Center of the SETI Institute, where expertise in limnology and astrobiology has been applied since 1993 to explore unknown realms. Prior to this role, Dale Andersen served as Principal Scientist at Lockheed Engineering and Sciences Company from 1987 to 1992, providing critical programmatic support for NASA's Exobiology Program, including assistance with program planning, budget development, and grant proposal evaluation. Dale Andersen holds a Ph.D. in Physical Geography-Astrobiology from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech.
