SETI Institute
Michael Wero is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in public relations and development. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at the SETI Institute since December 2014, Michael is responsible for creating a wide range of written materials, including press releases and website content. Previous roles include Development Coordinator at the SETI Institute and Development Assistant at the Computer History Museum. Notably, Michael held campaign management positions for two political candidates and served as Communications Director for the Office of the Speaker in the Navajo Nation Legislative Branch, where strategic external communications were directed. Michael’s career began with roles at the Navajo Nation Washington Office and positions at various organizations, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University.
