Rebecca McDonald

Director Of Communications at SETI Institute

Rebecca McDonald has over a decade of work experience in communications and marketing. Rebecca started their career in 2004 at the Episcopal Church Foundation as Senior Marketing Director, where they played a key role in building national awareness and engagement. Rebecca also led strategic planning efforts and implemented program qualification filters and sustainability requirements. In 2016, they joined the National Eczema Association as Communications Director, before moving on to the SETI Institute in 2017 as Director of Communications.

Rebecca McDonald's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Colby College, obtained between 1979 and 1983. Later, between 1996 and 1998, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from New York University.
