Asanka Perera

Asanka Perera is an experienced information security professional currently serving as the Manager of Network and Security at Seylan Bank PLC since October 2023. Previously, Asanka held the position of Chief Technical Officer at SentryLabs (Private) Limited from July 2021 to September 2023, where responsibilities included leading technology, services, and engineering teams while designing and implementing information security solutions. Asanka's extensive career also includes roles such as Assistant General Manager and Solutions Architect for Information Security at Flix 11 (Private) Limited, and Information Security Consultant with Independent Information Security Consultant. Additional experience includes significant positions at KBSL Information Technologies Limited, Greenwich Lanka Pvt Ltd., E-W Information Systems Ltd, Genesiis Software (Pvt) Ltd, IDM Technology Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, and Bartleet Electronics (Pvt) Ltd. Asanka holds an MSc in Information Systems Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems Management from the University of Colombo.
