Jeff Brown

Jeff Brown is the CEO and founding member of Brown Equity Partners, LLC (“BEP”). BEP provides capital to management teams and companies needing equity of $5 million to $30 million. BEP’s capital partners are affiliates of Edward P. Bass in Fort Worth, Texas, whom Jeff has been investing with for over 20 years. Prior to BEP, Jeff was a founding partner of the venture capital and private equity firm Forrest Binkley & Brown and a senior vice president of both Bank America Venture Capital Group and Security Pacific Capital Corporation. Jeff also worked at Morgan Stanley & Co. and Hughes Aircraft Company.

In his 29 years of venture capital and private equity experience, serving on both public and private Boards of Directors, Jeff has chaired the Audit, Compensation, Finance, and Special Committees of these organizations. Jeff directly invests and actively manages investments in residential, commercial, industrial and retail real estate properties in Southern California.

Jeff received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Mathematics from Willamette University.
