James Lofstead has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. James started their career as an Engineering Technician Internship at Multi-Dimensional Integration in 2018. In 2019, they joined Dematic as a Commissioning Engineer until 2021. During their time at Dematic, they gained experience in commissioning projects. In 2021, they moved to S&H Systems and took on the role of Lead Electrical Controls Engineer (V.I.S.) before transitioning to the role of Project Execution & Launch Operations Electrical Controls Engineer. In their current position, James is responsible for overseeing the on-site Electrical/Controls team and ensuring the system readiness for the Launch Operations process. James conducts post-installation validation of projects within their scope of work to meet project requirements and customer expectations.
James Lofstead pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting off in 2013 when they attended West Virginia University. There, they studied Civil Engineering, although it is unclear if they completed a degree in this field. Following this, from 2015 to 2019, James attended PennWest California, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering Technology (Major) with a specialization in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. It is important to note that this program was accredited by the ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).
