Jean Rutledge has a diverse work experience. From June 2009 to August 2016, they worked as an Instructor at the Encinal Yacht Club, where they taught beginner sailing and racing classes for junior sailors. They developed curriculum, managed junior instructors, collected data on student progress, and executed lesson plans.
From June 2015 to June 2019, they worked as a Teacher at the Orinda Union School District. They believed in teaching and nurturing the whole child, using daily observations to customize lessons and curriculum according to individual student needs. They worked collaboratively with colleagues and were open to new approaches.
Since May 2019, Jean has been working at Seesaw Learning. They started as a Support Representative, supporting administrators and teachers in utilizing the Seesaw platform. In April 2020, they became an Implementation Consultant, providing support to a wide range of learners using Seesaw in classrooms worldwide. In December 2020, they advanced to the position of Manager, Implementation, overseeing implementation processes. Currently, Jean holds the role of Manager, Customer Success since January 2023, ensuring customer satisfaction at Seesaw Learning.
Jean Rutledge earned a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Saint Mary's College of California, which they completed between 2014 and 2016.
