Shane Kim

Shane Kim is a Managing Partner of Baleon Capital. He has over 20 years of experience as a growth equity investor, board member, and trusted advisor of financial technology and software-based companies.

Shane began his investment career at Camden Partners, a growth equity firm he joined in 1999 as an Analyst. He became a Partner and Managing Member in 2007, and during his 17-year tenure, he participated in 22 transactions, 11 of which he led or co-led.

Shane co-founded Island Peak Capital, an advisory firm focused on optimizing growth through a proven operating approach. He is an active private investor, advisor, and board member in and to early-stage companies. Shane graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. degree in Finance and Management Science and Statistics.
