Mr. Akhil Gupta is the CEO and Executive Director at the Engineering & Construction division of Shapoorji Pallonji And Company Private Limited since July 2022. He joined the group in 2004, and has been Executive Director (Operations) and Whole-time Member of the Board at AFCONS. During his tenure at Afcons, he steered the Surface Transport business line, strengthening it for the future. He led several large and prestigious projects and spearheaded the significant growth of the business line, in India, South Asia, Africa and Middle East.
In his career of over 40 years, he held leadership roles in Petron Civil, Punj Lloyd and IRCON. Mr. Gupta is a graduate in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee and a post-graduate in management from IIT Delhi.
