Casper Wermuth is an experienced art director and lead artist currently working at Shapefarm since October 2020, following a substantial tenure at Ubisoft Düsseldorf from November 2014 to September 2020 where roles included Senior Lead Environment Artist and Lead Environment Artist on the Settlers project. Previous positions include freelance environment artist at AXOLOT GAMES AB, lead environment artist at Shapefarm, and a variety of roles in 3D artistry, including internships and key projects across multiple companies. Casper holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Graphics from The Animation Workshop and has a diverse portfolio that spans modeling, texturing, and project management in both game development and animation.

Our Family: Shapefarm is an independent game developer based in a peaceful district of Tokyo, Japan. The company was founded in 2010 and has proven experience shipping games and a strong creative process over the years. In 2014, Shapefarm founded the company Friend & Foe to co-develop the game Vane. Since then, Shapefarm has grown with a team of 20 creative and high-skilled professionals coming from all over the video game industry, all sharing the same passion for making the best games possible. Shapefarm’s projects range from Prototyping, Concept Design, R&D to pure high-level content creation.
