Marcos Ramos is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in various roles within the gaming and design industries. Currently serving as Creative Director and Art Director at Shapefarm since August 2017, Marcos contributed to the development of "Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time." Prior experience includes positions as Concept Artist at Digital Shoguns and Art Director at the World Food Programme, specializing in character design, background design, and animation. Marcos also held roles as UI/UX Developer at Yaraku, Inc., UNIX Developer at Plus54, and Director of Programming and Design at Our Time, focusing on project management and team leadership. Educational background includes participation in the Motivarti Online Mentorship with Garrett Hanna and studies at the University of Buenos Aires.
Shapefarm
Our Family: Shapefarm is an independent game developer based in a peaceful district of Tokyo, Japan. The company was founded in 2010 and has proven experience shipping games and a strong creative process over the years. In 2014, Shapefarm founded the company Friend & Foe to co-develop the game Vane. Since then, Shapefarm has grown with a team of 20 creative and high-skilled professionals coming from all over the video game industry, all sharing the same passion for making the best games possible. Shapefarm’s projects range from Prototyping, Concept Design, R&D to pure high-level content creation. We work with big commercial clients, game studios and several publishers in Hollywood, making games, animations, developing ideas and realizing dreams. We are fully dedicated to delivering creative excellence and quality from a strong artistic foundation. Today, besides our collaborative projects in partnership with several high-profile clients, we are focusing on developing our own IP.
