Ognyan Zahariev is a seasoned lighting artist with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Lead Lighting Artist at Shapefarm since April 2021, Zahariev previously held the position of Associate Art Director - Lighting & FX at Ubisoft Sofia. A freelance 3D/lighting artist between May 2019 and September 2020, Zahariev also contributed to Ubisoft as a Senior Lighting Artist, Lead Lighting Artist, and Senior Environment Artist from March 2013 to November 2019. Other notable roles include Graphic Artist at Moon Studios, Experienced Artist at Codemasters, Environment Artist at Masthead Studios, and Environment Artist at Pilgrim Interactive. Zahariev's educational background includes a degree in Computer Science from New Bulgarian University and further studies at Escape Studios.

Our Family: Shapefarm is an independent game developer based in a peaceful district of Tokyo, Japan. The company was founded in 2010 and has proven experience shipping games and a strong creative process over the years. In 2014, Shapefarm founded the company Friend & Foe to co-develop the game Vane. Since then, Shapefarm has grown with a team of 20 creative and high-skilled professionals coming from all over the video game industry, all sharing the same passion for making the best games possible. Shapefarm’s projects range from Prototyping, Concept Design, R&D to pure high-level content creation.
