Joe Hebenstreit is a seasoned professional in product design and engineering with extensive experience in leadership roles within innovative technology companies. Currently serving as co-CEO and CPO at Shaper since July 2015, Joe is dedicated to making precision cutting accessible through human-involved robotics. Prior to this, Joe held significant positions at Google[x] as Product Design Lead & Engineering Manager for Project Glass, and at Amazon Lab126 as Product Design Lead in Emerging Technologies. Joe's earlier career includes roles at frog, NanoMuscle, Inc., Core Science, Inc., STaSIS Engineering, Model E Corporation, and DaimlerChrysler AG. Joe holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
