Sebastian Käppner has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the field of e-commerce. Sebastian is currently serving as the Head of E-Commerce Channels at Shaping new tomorrow since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of E-Commerce Channel Management at Fielmann AG from March 2021 to October 2021.
Sebastian also gained extensive experience at Dr Martens - Airwair International Ltd, where they held the role of Head of E-Commerce - EMEA from April 2017 to March 2021. Sebastian also served as the E-Commerce Manager EU from November 2015 to March 2017.
Before joining Dr Martens, Sebastian worked as an E-Commerce Trading Manager at Pentland Brands from June 2013 to October 2015. In this role, they were responsible for managing online trading and merchandising activities for Lacoste Europe.
Sebastian's earlier experience includes roles such as Shop Coordinator at Netrada, where they oversaw Lacoste Europe within the Netrada Shop Management Team, and Category Management // New Categories - Master's degree at Otto.
Sebastian began their professional journey as a Sales and Marketing Intern at Kinglong Lighting Factory Co. Ltd. and subsequently worked as a Business Development Intern at cadooz AG.
Sebastian completed an apprenticeship as a management assistant in wholesale and foreign trade at Brillux GmbH & Co KG.
Sebastian Käppner completed their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Internationales Marketing from the Private University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2012. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Management and Business Administration from the University of Sunderland between 2008 and 2010. Sebastian had also acquired an European Management Academy Diploma in International Management from the European Business College Hamburg from 2006 to 2010.

The story of SHAPING NEW TOMORROW started in 2015 with three childhood friends. They set out to change the way we think about traditional menswear. We have challenged the traditions and reassessed how classic, timeless menswear should feel and look.
