Shapir Engineering and Industry Ltd is an Israel-based company engaged in the engineering and construction sector. In the Development division it initiates projects such as housing and apartments, commercial offices, organizations and parking, where these projects are self financed, planned, constructed, and managed by the constructor. Its Industry division includes a number of subdivisions, as follows: manufacturing and supply of aggregates and road materials, manufacturing of concrete, manufacturing of concrete fabricated plant, as well as manufacturing and supply of asphalt for road paving. In the Engineering division it is engaged in the construction, infrastructure development and civil engineering fields through Shapir civil engineering, which constructs bridges, intersections, paving roads, sea works, public housing, industrial construction and government projects. Furthermore the Company transports quarry, asphalt, and bedding for roads through its subsidiary Merchavim.
