Shagun Baldwa

Shagun Baldwa is an experienced finance professional currently serving in the Revenue New Initiatives role at ShareChat since November 2022. Previously, Shagun held the position of Vice President of Strategy and Finance at Masai School from February 2022 to November 2022 and has had a notable tenure at ShareChat from November 2017 to March 2022, where Shagun advanced from Finance Manager to Associate Director of Corporate Development & Strategic Finance. Key accomplishments include successfully closing three fundraises, two acquisitions, expanding the finance team from two to twelve members, and managing corporate investor relations, along with overseeing a treasury of $225 million and ensuring compliance with various financial regulations. Earlier experience at Jhawar Mantri & Associates as a Senior Associate involved managing audits, income tax, and GST cases, as well as handling startup clients. Shagun holds a Chartered Accountancy degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
