Rob has spent over twenty years as an engineer and engineering leader from electronic design automation to identity-based encryption and most recently ad tech.
As a founding engineer at Sharethrough, he laid the groundwork and continues to steward an inclusive, creative, and highly collaborative engineering team. Grounded in Agile and Lean methodologies, engineering at Sharethrough has been executing an innovative product strategy, maximizing the time invested in differentiating products and technology, for over ten years.
In 2015, Rob founded Calibrate - the first engineering conference focused on education and training resources for engineers moving into management. He continues to give back to the engineering community, donating his time to mentorship and speaking at organizations like Plato and Hackbright. Rob holds a B.Sc. from Simon Fraser University.
