Kyu Lee

Kyu LEE is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in industrial design, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Industrial Design at SharkNinja since November 2018. In this role, Kyu leads the design development of small home appliances, including robotic and cordless vacuums, utilizing a human-centered design approach while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Additionally, Kyu has been a jury member for the Asia Design Awards since January 2022 and previously worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at Merkury Innovations, where projects encompassed concept creation and managing CMF developments. Kyu also served as a mentor and speaker at SBC USA, providing guidance on product design strategies to entrepreneurs. With prior experience at companies such as iOttie Inc. and Insync Design, Kyu has a well-rounded background in product, package, and graphic design, complemented by degrees in Industrial Design and Communication Design from Pratt Institute.
