Nissa P. is an accomplished professional in digital marketing and media, currently serving as the Director of Global Paid Media at G Adventures since March 2024, while also actively participating as a Mentorship Committee Member and Mentor at Nissa Runs It since April 2023. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Nissa has held significant positions at the AdClub of Toronto, including Board Member and Director of Communications, since January 2015, and has contributed to Women in Communications & Technology as a Board Member and Director of Communications until January 2024. Nissa's previous roles at GroupM include Biddable Media Lead and Integrated Search Lead, among others, showcasing a strong background in search marketing and account management, notably through freelance projects for various high-profile brands. Educational qualifications include a Certificate of Digital Strategy and Communications Management from Stanford University and studies at the University of Toronto and Douglas College.

We have been invested in women’s achievement since we were first organized as Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) more than 100 years ago. We recently changed our name to She Runs It because as the industry has evolved over the years we’ve grown to be more than advertising and more than New York. Even more than women. We’re proud of everyone, including the many men, who join us. When we started, we wanted to give more women a seat at the table. Now, we want to see more women at the head of the table. The reason is simple. Women are proven leaders. Women motivate. Innovate. Today, women run companies. Communities. Countries. They are growth-oriented leaders, and focus on steady, sustainable growth. Women are good for business. Companies with more women as leaders are also more financially successful. More socially responsible. And that’s good for everyone. Which is why we bring together both women and men who want to build the world we want to live in. We have chapters in New York and Chicago, with more expansion plans in 2017.
