James Williams has a well-established career in marketing and communications, with their most recent position being the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Shea Properties since 2007. Prior to that, they held the role of Sr. Director of Marketing at The Irvine Company from 2002 to 2007. Before that, they worked as the Manager of Marketing & Customer Relations at the Orange County Transportation Authority from 1994 to 2002, where they reported directly to the CEO and was responsible for overseeing all marketing efforts.
James Williams received their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General from UC Irvine. James attended UC Irvine from 1983 to 1988. James later pursued further education at the University of Florida, where they obtained their MFA in Creative Writing from 1990 to 1992.
